     After the Primitive Baptists expelled this group for favoring missionary work  in 1839, the Missionary Baptist Church was formed.

     At mile marker 3.1 (From start of tour) you will see the parking area for the Missionary Baptist Church on your RIGHT.  As you walk towards the Church you will see X steps.  Walking up the 6 steps, you enter into the Missionary Baptist Church, where along with many pews, you will see the pulpit area in a sort of a bay-window area.  There is also a beautifully designed floor outset of a Cross.  NOTE: Once you click on 'go inside the Missionary Baptist Church' hyperlink, you can click on EVERY window and look out and see the actual view, and click on other aspects inside the Church!
